POSITION SUMMARY The counselor position provides assessment, individual, family and group therapy, as well as crisis and case management for patients and their families.
Develops and updates treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, documenting interactions and maintaining clinical records for customers with substance use disorders.
Coordinates with internal and external supportive services to ensure the maximize the therapeutic benefit to the patient and their family.
Collaborates with other member of the interdisciplinary treatment team.
This position may require evening and/or weekend hours.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Counseling and Case Management Conducts individual and group counseling sessions; assist patients in formulating treatment plans and goals; perform case management services.
Conduct crisis intervention; intervene and de-escalate crisis situations with patients; assess risk of harm to self or others and arrange needed resources Counselor conducts and documents weekly family contacts, including continuing care recommendations and progress updates.
Supports patient and family engagement in Ashley Family Services.
Develops and delivers patient educational workshops as assigned.
Develops an individualized Continuing Care Plan with each patient working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary treatment team.
Provides excellent internal and external customer service, including referents.
Conducts meet and greets with patients and their families.
Demonstrated ability to plan and use effective therapeutic interventions and counseling techniques.

DESIRED
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Bachelors Degree in psychology, human services, counseling, or social work required Certified as an Alcohol & Drug Trainee (ADT), with at least 6 months of experience required.
Must be able to speak and write clearly.
Basic mathematical skills required.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Word and Excel.
Able to interpret educational material, assessments, and treatment plans so that patients understand contents; able to probe and draw out thoughts, feelings, problems, concerns and fears of the patient.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK May need to work untraditional work hours such as weekends, evenings, observed holidays, and nights.
This is an essential or critical position which will require reporting to work as defined by the business needs of Ashley, Inc.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
