Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:
Safely transport individuals to and from facility.
Obey all traffic rules & regulations.
Follow time schedule in a safe manner.
Maintain daily paperwork including mileage documentation.
Accurately record attendance of individuals.
Complete vehicle safety checks as scheduled.
Maintain daily upkeep & cleanliness of vehicles.
Remain with vehicles at all times when individuals are present.
Assist with loading & unloading of individuals.
Assure proper home attendant is present when transporting to home facility.
Keep individuals and vehicles safe during inclement weather & times of emergency.
Attend scheduled training as required.
Treat individuals with respect & dignity at all times.
Qualifications &
Experience:
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Must be able to drive a 15 passenger vehicle (CDL license not required).
Ability to work morning and/or afternoon schedule.
Possess a valid drivers license with a clean driving record and 2 points or less.
No DUI or DWI.
Must be able to pass a drug screen.
Must be able to pass a DOT physical.
Physical Demands:
Ability to move individuals in wheelchairs.
Ability to assist in moving individuals into seat and securing wheelchairs, including maneuvering between wheelchairs, bending & twisting.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to sit and drive for long periods of time.
